  1. The X command can be used to set a variety of options.  If no argument is
  2. given, X simply toggles and displays the new Expert status. When Expert
  3. status is set, the initial connect messages are replaced by a compatibility
  4. identifier line (currently [MSYS-ver-$]) and the command prompt is simply >.

  6.      If a number is given after X, this is the number of lines to display
  7. for a R command before asking More? To continue displaying the current
  8. message when More? is sent press return. To abort the message, type N and
  9. then return. This facility has been added to prevent a long message from
  10. scrolling off your screen faster than you can read it. Experiment with
  11. different values until you find one that pleases you. 
  12. To not use this facility, set the number of lines to zero. Examples:
  13. X 20  (pause after every 20 lines)       X 0  (don't pause ever)
  14.  
  15. XF     Set "fast" mode: BBS will put more than one line per packet
  16. XS     Set "slow" mode: BBS will put only one line per packet.
  17. Note: If you have very good path to bbs, use XF. If you have a poor
  18. path to bbs, use XS since short packets make it through easier.
